Dr Khalifa Rajab Abdulsadek Chief Executive Officer, Murzuq Oil Services Ltd.
Working internationally throughout his 25-year career, he has led major programmes across multiple sectors. At MOSL, Dr Abdulsadek is focussed on delivering the company’s strategic priorities of driving performance and delivering support to the NOC and its affiliated companies. He is also the Chairman of the Owners Management Committee of Waha Oil Company (WOC), one of the major oil producers in Libya with daily production of circa 300,000 barrels of oil per day.
Before joining MOSL, Dr Abdulsadek was the Chairman, CEO and founder of Zallaf Libya Oil and Gas, a newly established, 100% NOC-owned energy company in Libya. Prior to that he held senior roles for Repsol Oil Operations in Libya, Repsol in Spain, Algeria and Talisman Energy in Canada, Algeria and Kurdistan.
Dr Abdulsadek is a Professional Engineer (PEng), holds a BSc in Petroleum Engineering from Tripoli University, Libya and a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, Scotland, UK. During 2015 to 2017, Dr Abdulsadek led Engineering courses for the Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Department of the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada.
